BSW Presents a Workshop at the American Society for Microbiology General Meeting - May 30, 2015
BioScience Writers will present the CAREER DEVELOPMENT - Effective and High Impact Scientific Writing workshop at the American Society for Microbiology (ASM)'s 115th General Meeting in New Orleans. The full-day workshop will be held on May 30, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Publishing and funding success are key factors in career advancement, and this success requires an ability to write clearly and effectively--especially in today's competitive environment. Unfortunately, many scientists do not receive formal training in scientific writing and must learn these skills by trial and error. This workshop meets attendee needs for professional training in scientific writing and communication and will teach participants to communicate scientific ideas effectively in manuscripts, grants, and other works.
